Life can feel heavy when unhealed trauma, mood changes, or various stressors interfere with your well-being, relationships, goals, and overall life quality. And having safe and skilled support while you navigate these challenges can make all the difference.
I work with adults facing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, burnout, stress, and more, and couples and families challenged with fractured trust, life changes, ongoing conflicts, and communication breakdowns.
I specialize in relational trauma, with a focus on helping clients explore the lasting impact of difficult childhood experiences and dysfunctional family dynamics. Together, we’ll work to heal old wounds, break unhealthy patterns, and create space for healthier relationships and a more grounded sense of self.
My approach to counseling is trauma-informed and holistic, combining evidence-based psychotherapy with body-centered practices to support you in wholeness.
As your therapist, I hope to walk alongside you to encourage you, hold space for you, challenge you (we all need gentle accountability!), and equip you with the tools and self-awareness you need to create meaningful life changes.
Let's get started with a 15-minute consultation!

MEET DR. OZUNA
Licensed Psychologist
PhD
Contact:Â [email protected]
Taking the first step toward therapy can be hard, and I want to honor the courage it takes to be here. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, grief, maternal health issues, or suicide thoughts—you don’t have to face it alone.
I’m Dr. Charmaine Mora-Ozuna (She/Her/Ella), a bilingual and bicultural pre-licensed clinician, proudly de raĂces Mexicanas. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia, completed my predoctoral internship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, and my postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine, working at Grady Hospital. I’m completing a second post-doc with Anchored Counseling.
I provide therapy to adults at all stages of life. I specialize in empowering women who have experienced trauma—whether from childhood, family patterns passed through generations, or domestic violence. I don’t believe que calladita te ves más bonita (you look prettier when you’re quiet), and my goal is to help you reclaim your voice. I also work with high-achieving and first-generation individuals who are trying to balance professional goals, family expectations, and cultural identity.
I welcome people from diverse backgrounds, across cultures, identities, and life experiences. My approach is grounded in Liberation Psychology and a Mujerista framework, which means I view healing as both a personal and collective act. I acknowledge the ways that oppression and sociopolitical realities shape our well-being, especially in a world that often feels “on fire.” I center culture, authenticity, and resistance as powerful tools for healing. I invite you to bring your full self into the therapy room—your story, your language, your culture, and your strength.
I invite you to a free 15-minute consultation where you can share what you’re looking for and ask questions about how I (or any therapist) can best support you in a way that feels right for you.
MEET DR. ANA CARINA ORDAZ
Licensed Psychologist
Ph.D. (She/Her/Ella)
Contact: [email protected]
If you’re seeking a clearer understanding of your child’s unique needs, welcome. Reaching out is a courageous act of care and together we can help your child build the tools they need to navigate their world with confidence.
I am Dr. Ana Carina Ordaz (she/her/ella), a bilingual and bicultural pre-licensed clinician, hija de inmigrantes Mexicanos (daughter of Mexican immigrants), and a proud native of East Point, GA. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia, completed my predoctoral internship at Providence Saint John’s Child and Family Development Center, and my postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA TIES for Families.
I strive to create culturally rooted, relationship-centered spaces where parents and children feel supported, understood, and empowered. I approach caregivers as collaborators and knowledge-holders of their family system. I begin by listening with intention, centering your goals, and the path you envision for your child and family. My role is to walk beside you, not ahead of you, as we navigate systems that often overlook or misunderstand the realities of our communities.
Play is a child’s first language, a powerful medium through which children express their inner worlds, make meaning of their experiences, build confidence, and practice problem-solving. I integrate play, art, movement, and talk therapy to meet each child where they are and collaborate with others to ensure a holistic approach that honors both child and family.
My work is grounded in Liberation Psychology and a Mujerista framework, I understand how social and systemic forces impact families. I support those facing trauma, grief, neurodivergence, anxiety, identity exploration, adoption, and immigration-related challenges and other forms of systemic disruption. I see healing as personal and collective, guided by dignity, agency, and each family’s inherent wisdom.
I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so we can discuss your child’s needs in the context of your family and the broader systems they navigate.

Starting therapy is a courageous step towards healing and self-discovery. Whether you're feeling excited, nervous, or apprehensive (or all three!), my goal is to offer space with warmth, honesty, a bit of humor, and a lot of care—so you can begin to feel safe, seen, and supported as you heal and grow.
I welcome adult clients (18+) for individual, couple, and family therapy with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, burnout, grief, and more in the state of Georgia.
I specialize in relational trauma, parental hurt (mother/father wound), family dynamics, and attachment issues; working with clients who wish to navigate the complexities of difficult childhood experiences and dysfunctional family relationships.
To acknowledge each client's individuality and specific needs, I pull from various modalities, and as a trauma-informed yoga instructor, I integrate a somatic approach that emphasizes the mind-body connection for deeper long lasting change. For couple and family clients, I invite Emotionally Focused Therapy to help you foster emotional safety and develop practical tools to manage the ebbs and flows of connection.
As your therapist, I hope to walk alongside you to encourage you, hold space for you, challenge you (we all need gentle accountability!), and equip you with the tools and self-awareness needed to create meaningful life changes.
